The Woman in Red Vintage Movie Poster Lithograph Barbara Stanwyck Hand Pulled S2. Condition: Mint, unused, never framed nor hung. This is a fine art lithograph of the original movie poster. The vintage one-sheet was originally created in 1935 to advertise the release of The Woman in Red. This lithograph was re-created, in 2000, on a rare antique 19th century hand-pulled printing press in affiliation with the American Film Institute's "100 American Classic Movie Posters". This is the same printing press that was used to create the vintage posters over 100 years ago. There are only 5 of these antique presses in existence, today.

Hand drawn plates are made, one for each colour, and then the plates are hand pulled through the vintage press one colour at a time. This is the exact same method that was used to create the beautiful vintage movie posters of the past. The result is vibrant rich colours and crisp clean lines. This is a true work of art. Medium: Hand pulled lithograph - hand drawn plates are hand pulled, one colour at a time, in perfect registration on Coventry 100% cotton archival paper with the finest quality archival ink on a rare, hand-pulled antique German Dufa lithography printing press.

Certificate of Authenticity: Re Society. Type: Individually, sequentially hand numbered in pencil (lower left border) by the curator. License: Bears the licensee's embossed emblem and signature of the chromist (unobtrusively) printed on this lithograph to differentiate it from the original.
