Next up is this rare Belgian movie poster from the original 1940's release of Universal Pictures sci-fi screwball comedy, The Invisible Woman. Having no direct relationship with the two previous films in the series, this movie concerns Virginia Bruce as an attractive model with an ulterior motive who volunteers to be a human guinea pig for an invisibility machine invented by eccentric scientist Barrymore. This was the 3rdh film in the original Invisible Man cycle, but it was not released until after the end of the WWII in Europe (probably late 1945 since this poster still bears the original Universal logo which was abandoned after Universal's merger with International Pictures in mid 1946). This poster is also printed on the back of a war era ordnance map which was common practice in immediate post-war Europe when wishing to conserve paper.
